Don't know what people think of this but interested to hear.

I like the little green arrow that finds a user's previous posts. I feel you get to see the person when they are being themselves and get an idea of the real person.

Is it possible to put it on profiles as well, so if someone mails you or catches your eye, you could see if they use the forums, and if so, what they have had to say?

i think thats a great idea, but its only useful to people who use the forums isnt it? maybe its too much hard work to bother doing for a small section of the membership? id use it though, definitely.

Not everyone uses them so only work for forum users so seems pointless to me

What a brilliant idea. A profile is an ad for a member which can be adjusted over and over again. We could write anything we want about ourselves. But a link from your profile to where you post on forums (if you do post) will give people a better idea of who you really are.

Oh... and it might even encourage more newbies to post on the forums

yes.. i remember that... they use to show the last 5 posts a person posted... I was always quite embarrased at first just in case i posted something really nerdy and it could be up there for days.....

Now i just accept the fact that i am in fact.. a nerd!

What I do as a wee cheat, is to look at my own recent posts and then replace my name in the browser address bar with that of the user who's posts I want to look at

Personally I don't like the idea of what I say in the forums being linked to my profile

My profile is what I use for fun and not indicative of how I am in the forums as a mod,someone gorgeous could be put off by me modding on a bad day in here if all my posts are warning whingy ones
