New section to the forum

Please can we have a new section of the forum dedicated to those "Would you [insert sexual act here] the person above" threads? Anyone else who is fed up of those threads can then easily avoid them by not visiting that section of the forum.

I don't mind them,I rarely participate in them but they're friendly,harmless and obviously popular among the forumites

They're also easy to ignore if you don't like them

I don't like them...I find them boring and infantile, but recognise some people are easily amused.

It's when you get a whole front page of them that they get tiresome...but I have to admit I've become fascinated in working out what the next "variation" on the same tired theme will be!

Good grief, I sound like a real grumpy old woman, but yeah, please Admin, corral them in one spot...pleeeeeeease, pretty please!!!

i equally find them boring and infantile and im afraid i dont see them as fun but more as reading a profile ie if they are too young, married or too far, its a big fat no from me, whereas in reality, i should look at them and say yes or no, based on their looks, how shallow

It's it tribute to Victor Meldrew wekkend again??? Like everything else on this site it's each to your own if your don't like the theme of a post don't read it

I agree with View those posts are a great way for newbies to dip their toes in the forums and as far as I'm comcerned the more the merrier

I can assure you I NEVER post on them and NEVER read them, it's trawling past them to find something of interest I'm talking about.

Hence my support of a area for them!

I think they are a useless pile of boring, immature, childish, naff shite so I just ignore them.

1 in 24 hours! Pretty obvious you don't start threads! Get your arse in gear and put more up! No one is stopping you!

Maybe if you dont put one thred a week up as a minimum and get 40 people posting on it then your not allowed to post on other threads?

Without new posters the forums would die. From about 100 users 12 months ago approx 30 are still active. You need new people bringing in new ideas. There are threads i dont like but hey i avoids them. To marginalise people isn't really a good thing in my book.Life moves and we need to move on as well.

Well i dont think so. Let them jump in. I for one if i think they are genuine will intact and avoid being negative with them. I certainly wouldn't tell them what to do.

I would rather have a fresh giddy newbie who is polite than an older member who adds nothing positive to the forums and in the main pulls down and picks at others threads yet doesn't put any up them selves.

It may help but there and again it may help many people who have been on longer to read some threads. Realistically there are over a 1000 threads alone go up in the lounge plus all the other threads in other areas it would take a large amount of time to read a small percentage.

And i didn't say you said they HAD to read the threads i said "Should everyone have to read the forums before posting?" maybe reading posts isn't a bad thing come to think about it.

Sorry guys but really we need these em how should I call em slightly non serious posts to introduce newbies to the forums. I've been a member on the site for nearly two years and have only recently dipped my toes into the "big boy" forums as I like to call them despite being an over excited poster in the Ireland forum. You big boys can be a little cliquey I don't mean that in a bad way it's great to make friends on the forums and it helps keep banter going but these posts give the less confident members of our community a chance to build up their confidence in the forums in a slightly more relaxed manner than the more serious (used lightly) threads. Anyway just my pink fizz thoughts

It is right what you have said that because new members cannot post on the forums, they dont read them, i know i didnt when i first joined

I still dont see how a forum for newbies and/ specific threads will help.....I tell ya what why dont we have a special forum for the following:

Blondes

Brunettes

Couples

Bi men

Hairy men

Smooth men

BBWs

I think its a ridiculous idea, there are enough problems in the forums already with some newbies against regular posters, which you will always get, and i really dont get this latest trend of lets stop certain types of threads, and what i find incredulous is the people who are asking for this are invariably people who never start threads themselves!!! How does that work then? Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion, but its been said loads of times before if you dont like a thread then ignore it, yes, there are threads that we all dislike at times but why shouldnt they be in there.

The threads that seem to be getting on some peoples nerves are the poster above you ones....they are a harmless bit of fun, and regularly reach over 300 posts, there has to be threads like this to enable new posters to post on something easy and flirty, and we all have to start somewhere!!

So come on critics..lets see you post some threads....diversity is a great thing you know!

Posting about how boring they are is, in itself, boring. It's also very off-putting to people just joining the forums who may then think they've committed some sort of heinous forum sin by posting in such a thread.

For the hundredth time: I DO avoid them because I find them boring. I can see why some people like them as they're repetitive!

My approach to thread starting is along the lines: better to keep quiet and let others think you're a fool than post and remove all doubt!

The usual, my opinion of course!

But does the very fact that this thread is concerning 'those threads' not give people the right to comment on whether they enjoy them or not ? After all this is a forum, and I don't see any of the rules being broken - not even the latest update to those rules .....

Can't see where anyone has suggested that rules have been broken let alone Pink.

Can see I wide difference of opinion, none of which is going to encourage/discourage me from starting or posting on said threads.
