Username search

This lets you search for a user by their username, or partial username. So for example if you entered "billy" it would find "billysexy" as well as "hotbilly".

Incorrect

Even if you put in a name but don't include a capital letter it often finds nothing

Can you make this better ?

You Dont Need to Know, right now

I've just tested it, and it seems to work fine for me. I searched Hot-Two both with and without capitals, and your profile came up in both searches. I use the desktop site, though.... are you using the mobile site?

Its a normal standard search facility just like searching on google, for example yesterday I was searching for wallpaper shops in Gloucester, google then picks out all those words including Gloucestershire, searching for someone on here is the same I have found

Yes for example if someone doesn't have a space in the user name but you use a space then it won't find anything at all

Not sure why you would put a space in...but maybe try using a partial name? Like the bit before OR after the space that isn't there?

For example

Random name chosen here

Blue girl

Type in like that and a couple comes up

Type with no space and a woman comes up

So as per the instructions both should appear

So if I was looking for the other one I wouldn't find them unless I didn't put a space in etc

Over the years we have found that the search facility seems to miss out seemingly random things, but cant think of any examples at the mo. Each time its happened we have had to resort to finding them thru our messages, but if memory serves we've had it fail to find people when we have used partials and capitals.

e.g. for "hot billy" we searched for "hot" and didn't get hot billy.
