I am a verified user yet when I try to verify peoeple I have met up with it will not let me.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved

If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves.

If it's happened that several verifications haven't worked, then it sounds like a definite bug. Other than the issues covered in FAQ, then if it's a bug, you'll likely find others raising the same problem and it should get sorted. I'm about to verify a profile, so will watch out to see how it works - or not. Good luck! Sophie
