"Just a thought, a lot of profiles are created and then UNLOS, some very soon after joining... Why don't FAB make it harder to do this, maybe make it compulsory to take out paid membership for the first period? Personally, I think this would make this site more serious and get rid of the lonely wankers who are sat at home all day... IMO Harry" So you'd have a load of fakes and time wasters who'll stick around for a month or so because they've paid a fiver? I'd rather they went UNLOS much quicker than that. And I imagine the extra fiver they'd pay wouldn't even begin to cover the extra admin costs, so how much extra would you be prepared to pay?

"Totally agree. Also admin should use TinEye to identify all the stolen pics being used on here.. It works, as I've just found out!! " Technically photo mods are supposed to check, but there are many, many, many pics to check and they after all un-paid volunteers. But they dont always.. use your better judgement and report any pics that aren't following pic rules...

" Why don't FAB make it harder to do this, maybe make it compulsory to take out paid membership for the first period? Harry" Not an idea I would support. People need to be able to have a look round the site for free, to work out if it is what they are looking for. And it's not just saddos who go UNLOS soon after joining, there are very many single females who go UNLOS soon after joining, when their mailbox is swamped with messages. Do you really think it is fair to ask them to pay to be pounced on by hundreds of horny guys, before they've even had chance to find out how the site might work better for them. If you are worried about fakes/timewasters, use all your filters. Filter out newbies, non-verifieds, no public pics, etc, so that they can't contact you. This will catch the majority of people who go UNLOS soon after joining, and then the site works the way you want it to.

"I had a fake account message me on a site that charges £25 a month, what makes you think £5 for 60 days is going to put people off?" I think it is the principle. Casual sex sites and dating sites are notorious for being full of automated profiles. The very hint of requiring money to join concerns people regardless of the sums. You also have to bear in mind more unscrupulous providers say they charge one price and in fact charge another.

"Totally agree. Also admin should use TinEye to identify all the stolen pics being used on here.. It works, as I've just found out!! " It does work, BUT ... I posted this, in a similar thread, over a year ago and I haven't rechecked the pricing: " For Fab to check the pics as they're submitted they'd have to use the Commercial TinEye services. Using the API costs $1500 per 30,000 lookups. There's been about 200 publicly viewable pics submitted in the last hour. So, ignoring private pics and, presuming that's an average, Fab would have to find an extra $78,000 (£48,759) a year!!!!! I can't find the pricing, but I'm sure that Google Reverse Image Searching won't be free for Commercial use either! "
