Just a suggestion how about a method of alerting users they have mail when they are in chat, so they dont have to keep closing the chat down to check? and losing the thread in a conversation.

you can click on your privacy page to have emails from fab when u have messages. I know it used to be like that I am sure you still can

You don't have to close chat down to check for mail - Just set you Internet explorer for tabbed browsing, after which when you open chat it will open a new tab along the top, then all you do is switch tabs go go back to the main part of the site, check your mail, then click the userplane tab and your back to the chat room

yes i agree keep the two screens open one behind the other u never have to leave the chat then

Or set ur email address for notifications as your hotmail/msn address and you get instant notifications through hotmail/msn if your signed in. Steve
