when I post an update, I can't see it on the timeline, is that how it works? I don't need to see it, just not sure if it's working. Any ideas?

you got men blocked? if so you also blocked yourself so won't see it.

You only see people your looking for and as your not looking for single men then single men updates won't show.. put yourself in your hotlist and you will see yourself in updates

Click on your profile, send yourself a friend invite and accept it, you'll see yourself on updates page then

Do you mean status update?

You won't see your own status in local updates, but if you either friend or hotlist yourself then your status updates will come up in either of those sections.

Don't see the point of it though, I just look at the top of my screen for my current status.
