What about people able to post short videos on their profile . Like the pics we all put on but videos. And we can fav them as well.

Been discussed quite a few times before on here. Most people don't want it and if it did happen the site would have to become a paid site , to cover the increased bandwidth and much bigger server

As long as they don't break the site rules and are approved by a pic mod. The videos would also have to be approved by a mod, a lot of extra work!

There's a lot of resources already going to chat.

Vids really would put me off.

For me the only thing lacking on this website is the ability to upload videos, would love that option to upload a couple of mine

Theres lots of websites that have this option and dont charge you for it...
