We get single on fab means solo but can be misleading. How about a slight change so single means, genuinely single and solo could mean attached / relationship but meeting solo. This could be with / without partners permission?

Might not be much point in it, and a bit of a waste of time. But, might allow people to be more accurate about their actual status. X

But the people who are cheating would surely still use the single button as they wouldn't want to be found out?

A fair number of people write in their profiles they are married and partner doesn't know etc. so are honest about situation etc.

I agree some are honest and do, but it was the people that dont I was referring too.

Well yeah, but you can't do anything about people choosing to lie. It's merely a post about giving people the option to have a different tag. To more closely match their situation lol

I've asked and seen asked for 'attached and playing single' for more years than I care to admit too. It looks better to say xxxx amount of single females but in reality at least 50% of single women are not single, most 'forget to mention their couples' profile and lots do it, to get attention, because their couples profile doesn't get "enough"

To do so you have to contact adminusing the contact button. However it is usually easier to say up a new couples profile as any veris etc would not be applicable to your new profile

Glad a single man didn't say that....but I think there's a lot of truth in what you say. I recently met a single lady for coffee who then disclosed they had a couples profile when I questioned a comment she said. I was not amused as I clearly state in my profile I will not meet a couple in any form. I paid the bill and excused myself. She was very pretty and could hold a conversation well enough too....she blocked me before id got home lmao!

I think the more pertinent question is would you still meet someone if they put on their profile "attached but partner doesn't know I'm on here so discreet only"? If you wouldn't meet them then would you expect someone to be up front and honest?

Not necessarily. I'd use a solo option.
