Would it be possible to have a select button, so we can search what the meets are looking for?

Would save shifting through all the adds where they aren't looking for a m

Is this not a case of advance search and clicking looking for a male, with meet today listed?

I could be mistaken, I rarely use search

I think OP is referring to the Meets & Events search - you can't filter the results down to only those where (for example) single men are welcome, so you have to root through them all. I've made the same request a couple of times, I was told the function is coming but it's still not here.

And how would that return a different result to doing an advance search and clicking the 'looking to meet' icon?

The Meets & Events listing and the Meet Today flag are completely separate, the 'looking to meet' filter in advanced search only looks at Meet Today. Meets & Events has its own separate search system, and you can't filter it to see if you're what's wanted.
