Chat only room?

Sorry...on a bit of a rant tonight!...now, I like a bit of banter and a good old chin wag with fellow members but do not like cams..I never cam and never view, not my thing at all! and tonight in chat, various cams and directing going on...and no, I do not mean in the 4 dedicated rooms for this purpose, anyway...not sure if this has been addressed before but wondered if a "chat only" room was possible (as in no cams allowed) not sure how popular this would be, if at all and if it was possible to achieve, just a thought...

I agree, the amount of directing in General Chat on Wednesday was appalling. Like you, I rarely look at the cams, and I find it irritating when guys are constantly saying "Sunny, look at me". I'd make it a banning offence. Likewise, I'd make it a banning offence to say "I wish you were in Directing Room" ... that's just unwanted pressure for us to accept directions, and surely General Chat is there to protect us from unwanted pressure?

Still, I suppose it serves me right for having my cam on

I don't think a no-cam room would be very popular, though ..... quite a lot of chatters (not me!) won't chat to anyone who doesn't have a cam on, so I fear the banter and chin-wagging would be quite sparse

I like the idea of a chat only room. The few times I have tried the general chat room I've had private messages asking me to go on cam. I dont like cam or being pressured to either. I'd use a chat only room

I show my fully clothed self on cam in directing room... seems fair to show Im not some bloke sat typing in his womans undies... however if men ask me to 'gerrum out' or whatever I reply sweetly with 'Im just a member of a sexy website not an actual sex service' it usually calms their enthusiasm.If a smarty pants answers with 'well this IS a directing room' just say only if you are willing to be directed.. Don't feel pressurised into anything. I find theres always parallel banter going on with like minded souls who like a natter in these rooms anyway and you can block the cum noise makers...

A small minority spoil it for a lot of us, don't they? There is no way you should feel pressured to go on cam, if you don't chose to. My suggestion would be to block them, and maybe when several people have blocked them, they will improve their manners.

Incidentally, did you know you can refuse to accept private messages in chat (or set it to 'friends only')? That's what I do, as most people think more carefully about what they say in open chat. Happy chatting! x

Personally, I don't understand it either, Rugby. I chat to anyone LOL But Jecherchedeux makes a good point, that maybe people think they're talking to a woman, when it's really a man getting a cheap thrill. Crack on, I say, no skin off my nose! LOL

why is it when a guy is directing a woman who is on cam hes usually the 1 that gets booted? most of the woman showing their bits on cam want directed but ,,may i say,,,dont want to go into the directing rooms for fear of compition??? there i said it lol not fair on the folk that just want a giggle and banter in the CHAT room,,,if you wanna be directed,,,go to the directing room please.

When we used to cam a long while back, we used to use the no directing rooms because funnily enough we didn't want directing and that way we had the backing of the mod to keep the directors from directing.

When we were in the mood to be directed we used the directing rooms.

Anyone can use the chatrooms as they wish as long as they don't break rules, so a woman can strip to their hearts content in any chat room.

I think you're mistaken when you say that most women on cam in the non-directing rooms want to be directed ... I certainly don't.

Chat room rules make it quite clear what is permitted in and what is not. Rule 6 confirms that playing or appearing nude on cam is permitted in any room, rule 5 confirms that "directing" is not permitted, except in certain rooms. That is why it is the director who gets booted - he is the one who has broken the rules.

sorry but why do woman or men feel the need to show all they have or have fun with their partners on cam in a chatroom?im not havn a go at anyone doing it its just why in a CHATROOM?folk that do are opening themselves up to be directed?a chicks sitting rubbing her nipples is surley inviting being directed?all im sayn is,,,go to the directing room.it is off putting when your tryn to have a convo or a giggle when every other line is,,ooo baby rub them for me show me what youv got??? ffs no ta

just my opinion and i honestly dont mean to offend anyone.

Lots of people have camfun in Cam Chatrooms.....there is nothing wrong with it, it is just different to what you want out of Cam chatrooms.

Not everyone wants to be directed either.

And I quoted you correctly ("most" not "all") ... and I still think you're mistaken.

Please don't misunderstand me, I have no objection to you have a No-Cam room to chat in, if the site owners want to make one. However, in my opinion, this should be IN ADDITION to the existing No-Directing rooms, not instead of them.

This is because there are very many ladies who want to go on cam but not be directed. If the comments from the rule-breakers annoy you (as indeed they annoy me), there is always the block option.

I personally would just like a room where people just want to chat and have a laugh....and yes, I agree, this would be in addition to the other rooms and definitely not instead of (we all have our likes/dislikes)

I have been visiting new Scottish chat room more frequently lately and I must admit, I have been using my block button as advised due to continual breaking of the no directing rules....just wondering now...how many I can have on my block list as it has grown considerably recently! lol.

Point taken that when some people play on cam they do not want to visit the directing rooms to do so, but surely the guys who do want to direct should visit them....I have seen so many being banned over the past few nights, so come on guys, why not just go to the directing room where this is allowed?

just keep report the directors to admin or keep getting the mods to sort it out, they soon get the message. Most of the members in one room all tell a director off they soon leave and then chat goes on but cams are nice always nice to see who ya chatting to innit

I used to use the Directing rooms as most of the people I was friendly with were in there, i would be fully dressed and on my profile its states that I would not show anything unless I wanted to. I have been told by many guys well why are you in the directing rooms, I would turn it around and say I wanted to direct eg cut off your cock with a rusty blade and stick it behind your ear where your one brain cell used to live AND READ MY PROFILE somehow the guys then didn't want to be directed funny that

I must admit....the people on cam the other night were very much encouraging the guys....yet all the men who ended up directing got banned!

People can be banned for encouraging too....but the only people who can be banned for directing are directors themselves, you can't blame anyone else for them typing directions in the wrong room.

If you see anyone asking to be directed (in a No-Directing room) please report this to Admin, as this is also a banning offence (see rule 6 for full explanation). As someone said, in another thread, take away the jam and this will get rid of the flies!
