Is it usual practice for Admin not to respond to questions by someone who has been banned a) why they have been banned and b) how long they are banned for?

Not me, I hasten to add - but one of my friends.

Everyone gets a mail saying why and how long for.

If your friend wants to query it the best place for that is through the CONTACT button.

If they think a mod got it wrong they will mail you letting you know it is lifted. If you don't hear anything from Admin you should assume the ban was the right ban and it wont be lifted
