Lost Verifications....

When a person leaves the site their verification disappears, why do you not leave the verifications on there and just do the same as club reviews and leave it there saying username: user no longer on sight. It's the same thing really.

So I don't understand why it's good for one and not the other.

It was said it would make it easier for fake veris, often checking who has verified and how verified they are is one of the safety measures/filters people use. The summary was introduced so as the numbers were kept even when the veri is no longer available to show

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I agree with both posts above, but the second one has to take precedence.

It would be nice to be able to read them myself though, even if displaying wasn't allowed.

Not going to happen though.

Then the same should be in place for club reviews, I don't think you can have that rule for one but not the other. The verification summary often leads to people thinking you are hiding something if they are not all displayed. So maybe the breakdown should state Eg:includes 8 left sight or something to indicate nothing is hidden.

If people think you are hiding something then are they worth meeting? Its really none of their business

A club verification/review is about the quality/experience of a club.

A personal verification is about whether the person is real, potentially not a time waster. Not a critique of someone's prowess..... or is it? Depends what you think a verification should be..

Clubs can't really pass themselves off as a single woman or couple though

I guess it's understanding the difference between the word "review" and the word "verification"...

Bit patronising I understand the difference between "verification"and "review" but the reasoning behind taking away the verifications was to stop fake verifications right? So someone from a club can create an account and tell the world it's the best club on earth and everyone one should go to it, leave the site and that "review" is still there? It doesn't matter if its a "review" or a "verification".

We've had people leave so lost them too but suppose as long as it's not your only one it doesn't really matter that much

Definitely not the only one but it's nice to have the memories when people have said such nice things about you. Gives a good balanced view of character to.

Apologies didn't mean to patronise, however your analogy is moot... after receiving just one review for a fake club... I don't see why anyone would do that, because 20 reviews of "this club doesn't exist" would probably not be great and where's the change? Creating a fake club review for a club that doesn't exist...to what end?

A fake account to review the club not a fake club.
