Missing verification

With the problems with this site recently, would it have affected messages/verifications?. Ive had a couple i met leave me feedback, and it's not appearing on my manage verifications.

Have you logged on to your account before at their house or vice-versa?

If you have then the verification won't be saved.

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved

If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves.

That doesnt answer why the couple's feedback hasnt appeared on my manage verifications. Ive also had messages go missing on here also.

You didn't say if you or they had logged on at each others houses therefore using the same IP address which would look like its the same person verifying their own account.

I pasted some reasons of why verifications won't register........not what the actual reason is.

Can Admin please clarify this?

The FAQ says:

Which is quite reasonable. However it seems to be suggested in some of the responses above, and I've seen it posted in other threads that:

If you've EVER logged into your account from their IP address, you will NEVER be able to verify them, EVEN once you've returned home to your own IP address.

Is this correct?

That's right as if you log into your account at their home then their ip will show up putting the two accounts together
