Chat screen problems on Apple Mac Safari

I am not sure if this is a known problem but when I use chat in Safari on the Mac the actual chat screen keeps minimising and then maximising such that it is impossible to use.

I have also tried Google Chrome and I can't even get into the chat window - the screen just freezes.

Basically this makes chat unusable until I can get the problem sorted.

I have just tried it with Firefox on the Mac and it works, so I guess it is a problem with Chrome and Safari, which is a shame.

At least I have a solution now, in case anyone has the same problem.

Continued problems with chat on the Mac. Now the Flash driver keeps crashing after about 5 minutes in firefox making it, once again, unusable.

I wonder if anyone in support look at this forum or am I posting in the wrong place?
