Pictures as well as GIFs on the site.. I use tumblr quite a bit thought it might be an idea to spice it up.

A gif is a short animation that plays over and over again.

Generally used to share very short videos of penguins tripping each other up and the like.

I think it's a reasonable idea - allows "video" without risking masses of bandwidth. Not sure how many will feature the profile holder though...
