Apologies if I have missed a thread on this but .... I thought there was a site decision that members could now only view the cams of members who were in the same chat room as them???

Whilst I was in General Chat (as usual), I have just spent 20 minutes watching the cam of a member who was in Directing Room (I was just testing, so I picked a handsome face! LOL) But I find it very disquieting to think that a Directing Room member could have done the same in reverse (i.e. sat masturbating in Directing Room, whilst watching my cam in General Chat, but being unavailable to me to chat).

Surely this is a Swingers Site? And the only people who should be able to view cams are the people who are in the same chat room?

If I wanted to be a porn star, I would expect to be paid! LOL

I agree with you but people in general chat will probably be wanking over you too its not exclusive to a directing room.

I put my cam on, because I hope there are pleasant gentlemen on here, who I may be able to meet, for the purposes of sex, which is pleasant for both of us. That is my view of a swingers site.

I am happy to be viewed by members who are non-participants (voyeurs), but who at least have the courtesy to say 'hello'.

In my opinion, people who think they're entitled to watch, from a different chatroom, without the courtesy of even saying hello ... they are the people who should reconsider why they are here.

Maybe some sort of application form should be in place before one views a cam- each user being able to define a set of bespoke questions to filter out the undesirables.

Much easier than just ignoring them.

Richygayna, you know I have ultimate respect for you two, as chatroom moderators but.....! The "block them" solution does not work for 2 reasons.

1st: if I block someone, they can still see my cam, (until they or I log off - see other thread)

2nd: people who are viewing our cams from other chatrooms no longer have the 'eye' symbol against their name (in General Chat), so there is no way of knowing who to block.

As you may remember, richygayna, what I choose to show on cam is not in any way remarkable/memorable/identifiable. But as a matter of principle, I believe that the site should ensure that I at least know who is looking at me. My cleavage = my decision on whether they may look! LOL

I appreciate that one of the rules indicates that EVERYONE may look, unless blocked. But surely that puts the onus on the site-owners to give us the information/tools that we need, in order to block effectively?
