FabSwingers.com forum: Pic verify and monthly fee before profile goes live

On a serious note fabswingers.com needs to start a subscription fee before your profile goes live and you can use it. This might actually help keep all the fakers and arse holes out. Having the silver and gold subscribe options are not making a diffrence. That way people might not be so defensive and cagey. I get it even if you did have that yearly or monthly subscription doesn't mean they can't be an arse hole. But it certainly will limit them as they won't want to pay to start a profile up. And if the do have a monthly subscription that gets paid every month and as soon as you don't make a payment your profile gets deleted. It's not hard to make a community a safer place where we feel comfortable and not hassel. Because fab now is just a major hassel not much fun now

Making it a pay-only site will make it a less diverse and interesting site. If you find people that you contact "defensive and cagey," maybe your approach might be what is causing that reaction?

I, for one, who from my first few days since joining, becam a supporter.

If I was FORCED to pay every month to NOT have my profile deleted would very happily look elsewhere.

Over 5 years, paid willingly = £300 I have happily paid so do not appreciate an ill thought out proposal.

I doubt you will find many support your view.

Perhaps if you come across so many people you find to be fake or arseholes the answer may well be with you or your approach?.

To be brutal, if the site is just a major hassle for you, it could be time for you to say goodbye and not dictate a subscription before a profile goes live!
