Sticky posts in forum

As we all know, there are shit loads of repetitive posts on the site. One in particular is single men asking for tips.

On other forum non sexual forums I use the site managers keep certain helpful information in a 'sticky thread' at the top of the forum page. It stays there regardless of subsequent posts so people can have their attention drawn to it.

Any thoughts on whether that could be done here for regular topics? If nothing else for single men seeking tips?

Admin have added profile advice to the introduction section for them to go in to...they are easily avoided.

It's a good idea. They can be really useful.

These days, a forum without stickies is about as uncommon as a car without indicators.

I didn't think BMW's came fitted with indicators these days.
