is there anyway of taken a verity away say if you sent someone and no longer wish them to have it

if you mean verification then if you block the profile in question it will remove the verification from the profile and from your profile if they have verified you...

(New, Sept 2010) If you block a user, verifications you have left will no longer show on their profile and similarly verifications they have left you will not show on yours. If you remove the block then the verifications will show again. Removing a verification will not remove a user's "verified tick", it only stops the verification text showing on their profile.
