Photo verify everyone

Why can't everyone who uses this site be photo verified.

Surely this would eliminate time wasters and jilted exes posted pics of exes up for whatever reason they get from that.

What is wrong with proving you're the rightful owner of a profile in order to use this site?

And actually having to have a minimum of 1 pic and not a blank pic anonymous profile.

Because a photo verification can still be faked. Because some people dont want to.

Why not just filter out non-verified profiles? Easier than getting miffed about how others choose to run their own profiles.

There are many requests, such as photo verify, or accounts not permitted without verification in person after a specific time period, but people user the site for all manner of reasons, including not meeting others. The current style allows probably for a larger user base, giving everyone more choice over partners and friends. The more barriers that would be in place, the less inclined people would be to use Fab or return, after a period of absence.

So, I'm not that much in favour of it, as it also - to some extent - takes away some people's need for anonymity, where they give out no personally identifiable details.

I agree fully. Yes it can be faked, but a lot of people aren't skilful with photoshop and it WOULD eliminate a good chunk of the fakes.

I've seen photo verified profiles with photos that are taken from multiple porn sites so it doesn't mean they aren't fake.

You don't have to be skilful with Photshop to fake a picture. I could just get my fit, pretty female friend to hold a picture of my username, jobs a good 'un.

I'm not photo verified and don't have any intention of ever being so, as I don't wish to have a photo exist, any where, that can clearly show me as a member of this site

Doesn't mean I'm fake, can honestly say in the years I've been on this site (over 5) it's not been an indicator of anything other than I've not created and uploaded a pic of me with any connection to fab

It wouldn't. The fakes would just start learning how to use a graphics program.

No I don't see that I should, the fact that I haven't been hasn't stopped me meeting anyone and I have a face picture in private. Those without pictures still get meets as I am constantly messaged by one particular individual who is verified by a meet. This subject has been done before too and the answer is still the same as then.

No I don't agree with people having to have a picture either. Up to people how they choose to manage their profile not you

Yeah we can all have our membership number tattoed permanently on our arms too. Mystery is part of the fun, otherwise swingers clubs provides proof of who you are, but even that doesn't stop people being dickheads There are enough rules and regs in daytime life, leave our playtime alone please and just be more picky PS I am verified!

The only way to check someone is not fake is that they are verified by multiple different users....and that these other people have multiple verifications....so some kind of net.

That is why people "paper trail" verifications. It's why I get so many guys and couples who are not looking for guys looking at my profile.

They are checking who has verified who!

Other than that...you take your chances and use your judgement. It's also why I show a good variety and proportion of my verifications....I don't show them all or my profile would run to 3 pages lol!

That's crap , many many people on here do not need the written word of one stranger to decided if they want to meet another stranger. They use their own brains and gut instincts and manage to avoid the fakes.

You can choose to be photo verified or not, just as you can filter your searches to include/exclude various preferences.

I'm not photo verified & unlikely to be - just as I'm unlikely to use the App or link to the Fab Facebook. Thats MY choice.

Every Member Photo Verified not going to happen . The resources needed to make it retro active would keep admin busy for the next five years .

Some compromise measures that could be put in place to protect the community on here would be good .

Email Verification being compulsory for members would be a start . It would make a dent in the 1,000s of fake accounts if at least a genuine email address was mandatory to open a new account,

I hear your reasons for and against compulsory photo verification ie the power of choice for users . How about giving a privilege to those that do photo verify . Wouldn't it be fairer for all concerned if only members that had been photo verified themselves had the ability to fab another users photo.

It would have the added benefit of making the top fabbed photo a bit more credible . ie it would cut out users with 100s of fake accounts fabbing their own a pictures which goes on wholsale at the present time

You don't know my friends!!! I once managed to convince one that after we went through the Dartford Tunnel, we were in France and that it was the Channel Tunnel. Convincing her to hold a piece of paper naked should be a walk in the park!

The solution is probably better if thought of as age verification first. If an account needs to be card verified to prove firstly over 18 this would also cut the amount of multiple profiles as most people do not have hundreds of credit cards. Also if someone abuses the site this card allows them to be traced or flagged.

Pointless as you would have to look at how many members actually fab other users photos to work out whether your idea of only those having been photo verified would work or not. Wouldn't bother me as I rarely do it and in fact the ones I have fabbed in the past are not sexual ones

Ah yes this would be better as get fed up with being messaged by someone only to find they have changed their date of birth so they can meet the older woman
