We've just done another update to new chat:

Font/colour changes will be saved once you've set them even if you come out of chat, go in again or even use chat on different PC.

We've tweaked the algorithm for the red highlighted cams so it has more colours of red to highlight and figures out what's hot based on room size not just count viewing.

We've fixed a couple of bugs people spotted e.g. chat input box disappearing if you have had multiple windows/PMs open

We've fixed a screen flicker/redraw in IE when you remove/add an active cam

Any feedback let us know

We are regulars of the new chat and never had issues with it but the last few days when we type a message and press enter when finished the screen freezers, after a cpl of minutes it unfreezers and the conversation catches up, very annoying and hard to keep up with conversatios.

we use IE and yes it is still doing it you get any thing fron 10 second to 2 minute delay we have cleared history and cookies but made no difference.

Can you try another browser e.g. chrome just to check that it works on on that browser on your system.

Small update to chat today (Weds 20th Oct 2010)

* You can enlarge to floating big cam window any cam including those docked

* The sound on/off toggle is remembered so if you dock a cam that you've turned off sound on, the docked cam also has sound off. Ditto if you pop out the large cam window from active cam or docked cam it keeps the sound setting

* We fixed another cause of screen redraw on IE browsers when viewing a cam if you're already viewing a cam... makes the chat room a bit slicker

My cam still won't work in the new chat rooms. Have tried IE, firefox, and Chrome and still won't work.

Ensure your cam software is off and anything else using the cam is shut down before entering chat

This has fixed this issue for a lot of other cammers

Still doesnt work after doing what u suggested. Ive never had anything like this with any other cam site, even the old chatroom, so dont know why it doesnt work.

Its a logitech webcam 120. Im using firefox latest version. Have done all of what you suggested when i logg in but still no cam coming up. I dont understand why it always works in all the other cam site/rooms but not the new one.
