We think we've resolved the issue when threads break and you get the "Oops" error.

It was to do with our software which checks for correct quoting wasn't taking the case of the quotes into account (should be lowercase).

... and in the interests of all Fab members, if you do find a bug with the site please let us know about it privately rather than just breaking things, otherwise it wastes our time figuring it out and fixing it when we have a list about a zillion things long to be doing to keep the site running

Point taken, although I'd like to be clear that I didn't "go around breaking things". Admin know this, I'm sure, but others may believe otherwise.

Turns out this still had problems

But we think it's fixed now as of this-morning.

Thanks the anonymous tipster who let us know there were still issues
