Future meet requests

I've only just noticed this but we have just browsed what meets are available over the weekend of 8/9/10 May in London, and there is nothing listed. So we went to post our own meet request for the same date and location, but the drop down list of dates would only give us the option up to the 21st April??

Why is there a so such a small window to list a meet? If we were to go book a weekend away now for August for instance, why do we have to wait for 4 weeks before until we can post a meet?

Warrington & Glasgow

You can list Meets up to 1 month in advance. You can list an Organised Event up to 3 months in advance.

You haven't discovered a bug!

Most people only arrange a meet a week or 2 weeks in advance. Things can change a lot in that short time alone, never mind months in advance.

I know it isn't a bug, it was more of a question of why the difference.

Agreed that on the whole posting a meet a couple of weeks in advance is the norm. But having the opportunity to at least match the 3 months for organised meets would allow for far better planning and opportunity to interact more with those interested.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Agreed, there shouldn't be such a limit on how "organised" we're allowed to be!

Probably to stop a small group of people putting a meet up for every single day of the oncoming year
