not currently meeting signal

Reading

My wife and I love swinging but due to health and work sometimes for periods we cant do any meets.

We post this as a status but goes after a few days. Could the site enable a traffic light system which would allow users ability too meet?

Remove all photos and change your age range to 98-99, block all users ie single males, couples etc

I know there's things you can do but having a simple button to click which shows in search results would make life easy.

If you just hide your profile then it won't show in a search. Or block everyone in your filters or set the age filters to 98-99. There are various options when not meeting. The use of a flag or symbol is a good idea in theory but as some have said, people will take no notice what so ever unless the use of this symbol prevents people from sending a message.

But I don't want to hide my profile or pics when I am not meeting. A symbol alongside the verification/photo verification ones would make it simple for people searching to see who is not meeting.

True but when people ignore NOT MEETING in the first sentence why would they take notice of a symbol? I've just changed my age filters in the past, has worked well and my friends can still message me.
