Why can't I verify using my mobile ? I click on verify and it comes up saying I must be verified before I can send one .

That's right. If you are not verified then you can't verify another person. Get yourself to a social or a club meet people and they may verify you, or if the person you want to verify is themselves they can verify you first

Exactly...you need to be verified first.

Maybe you could go on cam and get verified? Or the person you want to verify could verify you first (if they are verified too?)
