Hide Forum Threads

Could admin consider the function to hide Forum Threads STARTED by people?

NOT posts they make in other people's threads because that will just make for very did disjointed reading.

But the ability to hide entire threads they start would be good.

For example if you block someone that hides any threads they start too.

I ask because I'm absolutely sick to death of logging on and seeing the same threads being bumped by the same person on each of the 20+ threads per day said person starts.

Don't click on any posts by the known perpetrator then, easy

But if I didn't spread myself around the forums, I wouldn't have anything else to do

I can only message myself so many times...

It's gotten to the point where I don't even want to see the threads.

I am not commenting on your suggestion, but someones name on a new thread surely can be ignored? Why let something so trivial get to you?

Define trivial. ...

It's not trivial when it gets absolutely fucking monotonous.

I suppose it depends on perspective and how we deal with things.

If something gets you that riled and you can't ignore it then you need to take a break and have a few deep breaths

Yes but monotonous to one person will be interesting to another.

Think I get what you mean, a bit like hiding certain friends status's on facebook because you're fed up of having it pop up what theyre up to every 5 mins?

...I just ate some yummy weetabix. thoughts? I just nearly sat on my cat. thoughts? until your front screen is filled with nonsense you get bored of seeing

I dont think I'd use a function like that on here though..no tediousness setting in for me yet!

If you have blocked someone I'm assuming that you no who you have blocked in that case it's not rocket science to not click on there thread or read what they have said

The ability to ignore threads would be cool and make it a lot easier to find threads you are interested in.

Just learn to ignore things, it really is simple, dont get upset over trivial things.
