Do you (FAB ADMIN) advertise new functionality anywhere?

I've just realised there's a mark as unread button now from reading in forums and wondered what else I'm missing

That's not new it's been available for ages, but I do agree with having a new features announcement of some sort.

Ive noticed they generally post in the feedback forum when something new is added

Or in the update feed on your profile

When you open a message, you have the following options:

"Reply to Message Save Block sender Mark as unread"

Yea we missed a few weeks online though so having somewhere only admin can post all the updates and we could play catch up would be really usefull, otherwise they get lost in the comments from others
