Halifax

On occasion I just come online to answer my messages. Once online though I can be bombarded with people wanting to chat and I don't always have the time. Isn't it possible to have a "show as offline" button just as we can make other choices such as not to show when we look at someone etc.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I've been asking for this for years, but admin just say to hide your profile, which unfortunately doesn't prevent friends from bugging you.

Asked about this years ago, would love the facility.

You can change filters etc, which is frustrating and doesn't stop friends or people you've been in previous communication with from messaging.

I can see why this isn't such a great idea from a thriving website point of view

It would make the site look completely inactive with huge numbers of people showing as offline

Not an attractive proposition for people who are looking to communicate with others with a view to meeting up

I just ignore messages until Im ready to read them
