Just thought. It would be handy to have a green icon on profiles that link them to threads they contributed to, as you already have in the forum. Then you can get a better idea of their nature. Wots admin think ?

Been asked for before, we think know it's a great idea, but for some reason it has never happened.

Thats because the majority of Fab users dont use the forums.

It's easy to find posts by other users without the green icon..

Yes I know how find members post using the url, but it's a quite fiddly on a mobile. And does it matter how many people use the forums? The script is already there for the green arrow, it can't be hard to include that on profile pages.

Search the forums.. think admin said it wasn't worth doing - something to do with slowing things down, as not everyone used the forums it wasn't worth it.

It cant be hard to do a lot of things on the site that have been repeatedly asked for down the years.

But that what happens when it's a free site - development takes a back seat.

So just keep waiting.. one day it might happen..lol

Quote from a Mod.. who quoted Admin.

It is a while back but Admin answer on this one.

http://www.fabswingers.com/forum/feedback/78330

So few people use the forums (yesterday, 0.69% of users posted to the forum) that we weren't sure how useful this is.

Is also adds an extra query for each profile page load and the less we do on each profile, the better.

This is why it hasn't happened yet.

Admin x
