Hi all, Just a suggestion really, as we have came across other people that had someone stealing their pictures and then pretending it’s theirs.

I know that there is a standard watermark on the bottom left hand sides of pictures, but this can be easily cropped out, with any picture editing software.

How about an inbuilt option to allow the user to add a bigger transparent watermark? Say across the photo, this would save time and hopefully reduced the amount of photo stealing.

You can do this yourself if you like with many image editing software, at least then you can choose what text goes on the picture and the location of it.

If Fabs did it to all pics, guess there is a chance that it may obscure slightly some of the pic that the user doesnt want obscured etc.

Not gonna post the link but if you google 'watermark photos' there are some web based ones or there are a few downloadable ones too that are free but get them from a reputable web site.

Hi there

It depends on the size of the picture your adding the watermark to. We have a program called Picture Watermark that's very good although you do need to work out the size of the watermark. This program allows you to alter the intensity of the watermark as well. We also have Adobe Elements 8 and its the same in that. We have now started to watermark our pics diagonally across the pics we now add to Fab.
