That when we block then ublock certain people from our 'friends' list (we find this an easy way of unfriending but don't want to actually block anyone) we then get a friends request 'from them' instantaneously?

Try it (obviously with someone you don't mind removing !) then check your friend invites..

Glitch surely?

It's not a glich, it's designed to help those who have blocked their friends in error.

Yeah thought that could be it but it's somewhat annoying.

I think an 'are you sure you want to block' option would be better

Funnily enough, I do.

My opening post explains why we don't

Just thought it would be easier, and wouldn't send the random friend requests.

I'll keep my mouth shut next time

It's cool - we're all for freedom of speech

We don't like to have anybody on our blocklist - but may on occasion, have to put a previous 'friend' on there for whatever reason for a few days or more, or however long it takes for them to tire of playing silly beggars.

So it's slightly irritating when you eventually unblock them, to receive an instant friend invite from 'them'.

Just unfriend them before you block them and you won't get that annoying request.

They're not requesting it, if they've been on your friends list before and you unblock, it automatically appears that they've sent one again.
