Hello,

Tonight I had my profile text completely wiped due to a violation of the rules.

This is a very clumsy and heavy handed way to deal with a violation. A simple message warning me that I had broken a rule would have got an offending item removed.

There are some users on this site that spend a significant amount of time developing their profile and detailing what they're into, I can imagine other users being upset about being treated in such a fashion.

Think yourself very lucky that you are still on the site. Discussing it in a public forum isn't going to do you any favours.
