Some people start a lot of threads in a short time. Shouldn't there be a limit eg 3 a week?

No. A lot of people with a lot of questions and comments.

Yes there are some heavy users and some repeated threads but that's the business I guess

But then who would stay all the threads?! I rarely have started any, and I'll bet there are several posters who comment but don't create

3 a day maybe but 3 a week would reduce the quality as some people are more creative than others.

You could limit people on how popular their last thread was I guess to cut down on mundane issues I guess.
