Can someone please explain why we get mail notification of winks that people have sent us and when we go and have a look there is nothing there ?

The person who winked left the site or blocked you in a tantrum as you didn't wink straight back I imagine.

The point of a wink is to let someone know you've seen or read something you have liked on there profile it does get that person recognised unless they receive hundreds and never check them

A wink is nice to receive but if you like the profile and pics you see enough to wink. If you fit their requirements, why not message? And no, this isn't a look at me post either

The point of a wink is to show that you're interested

When I've been winked at and returned the wink to show my interest, I've then received messages and this in turn has resulted in more than one good meet.
