ex pics and admin views

Not sure if in right section but here goes question aimed at admin for their thought process please.

A while myself and ex fell out and as matter of course I removed all associated pics from fab.

Week or so later admin sent warning telling me to remove the pics bearing in mind all ahad gone do admin actually check for accuracy.

To me whoever makes the complaint should have to provide detail of the pics for example say pic number two and what type pic is it body type etc as this is open to abuse and spiteful ex can accuse without proof and admin as in my case threatened to ban but how the hell could i have proved pics had gone without giving the ex acces

Which I would never do.

Can the thought process be explained as find it totally wrong to be warned about being banned without actual proof.

You get a mail asking you to remove any pics that are not yours.

It then goes on to tell you what would happen if you didn't remove them which is understandable as they cant let people use others pics without permission

I know that but point is how can i disprove the allegation by ex that i no longer have on fab do admin just take word of ex of she repeats it without proof.

Innocent till proven guilty I assumed the process needs reviewing to cover accustations without foundation.

I would think that Admin's approach is right - and it must be applied evenly to all without discrimination or differentiation.

So if a question has arisen - then it is surely correct to follow it up with an advisory message?

If the photos have already been removed, then you have already dealt with the issue, and no further action or response is required.

I am not criticising admin at all but the process as for dealing with it pics were removed well before ex contacted admin so again I ask if ex were to say I still have pics on account how can it be disproved.

I am not sure it matters if all parties involved are happy now and that's what Admin want.

Perhaps you shouldn't have had photo's of your ex on here if she was already ex?

She was quite within her rights to complain I think.

How do you know these pictures weren't removed once she became the ex? Your assuming he kept them on there?

The op explained he removed the pictures once she became an ex, therefore he didn't have any pictures up associated with her or that relationship..

Do people not read before judging anymore?

How do you really know who the other persons are in the pics and whether they have given consent for them to appear in the pics on fab? That goes for anyones profile.

admin make the rules, follow them as it suits and change them when it suits.

The only way you can ensure your pics are 100% OK, is if they are just of you - so as a single guy you just have you and only you in them.

It sounds more like an auto response to a complaint a message that gets sent out irrelevant of the facts.

However it should have something at the end along the lines of "if action has already been taken please ignore this message"

It's highly unlikely that admin even had time to check out all your pictures.

It isn't an auto response. Admin look at every report on its own merit.

If the person being reported has already taken the pics off in the time Admin get to deal with the report all well and good, but if they still have pics of "others" on their profile and Admin cant tell who's pics they are then Admin will ask them to remove any they have no permission for.

It isn't a nasty mail, but it is covering the people who say their pics are being used.

I am sure people would rather see Admin doing something rather than nothing.

I think it's more a case of not being able to have a meaningful dialogue with admin - I've recently had a timeout from the forums but I didn't understand what I had done wrong so wanted to query it so I didn't repeat my mistake - I tried but didn't get a response and that's more the issue here there was nothing the op could do to put his side of the story.

The E-mail gives you a reason of why you were banned, maybe then connect it with a corresponding post you had made and you will get your answer.
