My wife and I were scammed by a Romanian couple on here and yes we should have known better but trusted our poor judgment.Having said that,we decided to complain to admin,big mistake, we had evidence these people were using a pc in Romania but after fab blocked them we made up another profile to check and hey ho they were only blocked to us so don,t trust admin to look after the interest of its customers they won't and remember admin are aware of the IP address for each pc or mobile used and could if they wished make it impossible for these scammers to use the site but it is very clear admin just do not care about customers.We are not allowed to name and shame even to protect other users but it would help if fab removed these people completely.If they look eastern european stay clear.

I.p. Blocking does not work people rattle on about it all the time but I.p. addresses can be changed fairly easily.

As for reporting and nothing being done, often that's because admin need reports from several people before taking action, the mutual block is simply to keep Waring parties apart.

Learn from the experience and move on you will benefit from it in the end.

I can't see this ending well. I have always found Admin to be both efficient and fair.

Perhaps you imagine because you made a complaint about someone they should be banned. That would be very unbalanced.

It isnt against site rules to use a PC in Romania. The site can be accessed world-wide.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.
