I wish the Fabs Messaging system was a bit more... 'sophisticated'...?? More like email is...??

I wish I could update a msg I have sent, which has not been replied to yet - with a further msg - rather than sending a complete new msg. Recalling sent msgs might be good sometimes, too - when you perhaps regret what you wrote.

Just think msgs needs a bit of an update.... IMHO - but YMMV.

Just imagine that you're writing a letter, once it's gone it's gone.

And the Black Death is still a major problem....

Seriously, it could be better. Whether it should, is another question. Thats up to Fabs Admins to decide - depending on how much work might be needed - and what the gain might be - Cost vs Benefit.

If a message hasn't been read/responded to - why would you want to send another?

It's one of the main reasons messages get deleted and profiles blocked!

Yes. But I mean an addition, or an update, to an existing msg.

YMMV - OK...??

Sorry - I still don't see the need. Any 'update' could be as a subsequent message.

Assuming they respond of course!

Your mileage may vary. Its a weird internet phrase for 'you have your opinion, I have mine.'

Re the OP, anyone starts updating or sending messages before I've even read the original message is likely to be deleted. It would be good to be able to recall regrettable messages though.

Thank you. I agree it would need using with care - and perhaps some might misuse it. A Recall for say 5 or 10 mins would be good - like for a Forum Post...??

Dont forget people can still, now, send (yet) another message - whether or not. But that just people.
