How can someone request friendship if they are blocked? The details on both accounts seem to be the same too.

I think there's a glitch in the system that sends one automatically if you block someone who was on your friends list...We've had it happen several times annoying and a bit creepy at times if you intended to block them...useful if, like me, you find the block button rather close to the reply button on the mobile site...

But they remain on my blocked list.

I knew it happened when you unblocked them but not whilst they are actually blocked.
