why is this happening??

we suddenly seem to be getting emails on our private account saying that we have mail on here even though our filter is set for this not to happen.

and secondly, we have our filters set to not get mail from single men and single men are all blocked, but some of those are leaking through from men we have never had any contact with previously. Is there a bug in our filters??
