A newbie icon

Would it be possible to have on your looked at me page a newbie icon the same way as you can see if they are verified or not?

I have newbies filtered and could save my time bothering to look until the are no longer new?

Why? As a recent newbie I applied all the filters I could to ensure the search I did pulled up people who matched my pre fences and that I matched theirs. But it takes time to actually read the profiles and think about what you see. Do they have similar interests? Does their profile make you want to run for the hills or run for the condoms on the way to meet them? What does being a newbie actually matter?

There is another post on here about bi guys showing as straight. It took a while before people actually responded correctly to the post and it wasn't about homophobia just the ops desire to find the right person who shared their preferences.

Your right to not want to meet newbies is your personal choice but they will still be the same type of person whether they have been on the site for one day or one year.

I have met and chatted with some fantastic people on here but I do not want or seek verification. I ignore those profiles that dictate you must be verified, have this or that. As far as I see it, their loss not mine.

And who gets to decide what period a newbie has to serve? I pay my dues to access the services. Am I to endure a restricted service? Do I get a remission on my fees to allow for this? which group gets to set the times and how are they policed? If you could block newbies good luck in getting them to subscribe sounds a bit elitest to me but this is a free country. Suggest the best option if you don't want people to contact you would be to put that request as the first line of your own profile text. Most of us read tbe profiles and respect people's wished. Well, us decent ones do anyway

I think the bigger issue here is the number of verified people who do not actually support the site. I move that any one who has more than one verification has to pay a basic fee. That way the site is supported by all and those who want the contiuous refresh of fresh blood on to the site get it. At least that way you may meet someone who nicely meets your needs

A newbie is only a newbie for 5 days! So it is hardly a long sentence to serve is it?

I block newbies from contacting me because I am fed up of the same one's joining, deleting and joining again! Also they find me after 10 mins of joining with a one liner profile with no idea about the site or the scene.

Filters are there to be used as you feel fit, I do not need to justify my reasons why

I personally read the profile. If it saidnit to contact for a b c or d reasons I don't. Good luck anyway. x.

I still think a newbie icon could be achieved along with the verified, site supporter and photo verified icons
