Its been 'tested' now for about 8 months...how much longer is it going to be before its going to replace the older version?

So when will that be ?? There has been a distinct lack of updates recently ?

Or have you given it up as a bad job ?

I appreciate that an awful lot of work has gone into the new chat platform and it does, even as it stands have some positive points...

However, would it not be easier to upgrade the package that is bought in from userplane?

Userplane does seem to of been a lot more stable of recent months and I believe they do an option for private chat boxes. Maybe this is an option that supporters could get? Maybe that would be nore an incentive to upgrade and thus paying for itself?

As redhot and others have said in the past the font colour and style is a massive part of chat, users look for the colours and style of those they are chatting too... When its all one colour its just a blur. I only go in new chat to check all is ok from a chat mod perspective, rarely chat in there.

Having a good chat room and a good forum makes any site like this what it is... Without either or if the competition does better then users (particularily paying users), will go elsewhere.

Just my thoughts.

Obviously not a moderator but other than that, have to agree with you. Especially about the colour and style of fonts. I find it really difficult to see whom I am talking to quickly enough. Usually give up after 10 mins.

Good point...

Thanks for the update admin...is the directing room the only one thats functioning at the moment in beta?...we have never seen anyone in any of the others.

they all functioning but not many use em i go in and chat to myself on occasions just so the rooms dont feel lonely lol

Nope it's just the most popular. Probably because cam quality is better than in old-stye-chat.

We have plans to improve it fuller in the next rollout too.
