Chat room pause?

Hi there,

Don't know how easy it would be to do, but could there be a pause option on the chat, so that we can scroll back through what's been said?

At present if you scroll up and a new entry is made on chat it automatically goes back to the bottom - makes it impossible to backtrack on conversations!
