Is it not about time we had the region's updated to give a more accurate result? We're in Wakefield which according to fab is north east along with Newcastle. Bradford a ten mile drive away is north west. Sheffield is fifteen miles away in east Midlands along with Norwich and many more places way out of our range.

How three city's in Yorkshire that are so close can be in three different regions is ridiculous.

The worst of the three is the east Midlands which seems to cover a major part of England.

Any chance someone could look at a map and get things a bit more realistic.

The regions are all being removed.

Everything will work like advanced search, on proximity/radius

We should have asked. Where are the regions causing you most bother? Is it meets/events pages or elsewhere on the site?

Feedback is appreciated

Biggest annoyance is when looking through browse meets and you have to go in three different regions followed by club reviews.

Once it's changed to a distance it will be great.

Browse meets. I live in central Scotland so have no interest in meets posted in Aberdeen/Inverness etc so would prefer a way of filtering these out.

Getting rid of regions when looking in meets section sounds like a good plan. We are classed as east midlands but as stated earlier the likes of hull is north east and east midlands is massive just like the jungle lol

Distance search will be much more easier me thinks when looking for sexy meets

Everywhere!

I get updates from men in Ipswich cos they're in the same area as me but not from Wakefield, pontefract, Leeds or York.

If I search meets and events I have to do two searches not just one.

And if someone messages me and has just got the area as his location I have to check his profile to see if he's ten minutes away or two hours before I even respond with hiya!

Will this be the same for the 'meets, events' section, that would be much better than the regions.

Definitely that will be an improvement.

Either that or we need a Yorkshire region. There's so much going on here with the big cities of Leeds, Bradford, York, Sheffield. It's crazy to have them in separate regions.

I guess regions can overlap, so we could have a Yorkshire as well as North West, North East etc

21 weeks on, any idea when regions are going to be changed? It's probably more annoying now having been told that it was going to be changed and nothing has happened.

Cheers P & J xx

Being from London, it would be great to be able to search for people within 15 miles.

Those that are 20 miles away are probably over an hour away/ hour and a half away, whereas those within 15 miles could be my side of town and reachable with 20-30 minutes

How are you searching? You can search for down to 5 miles using Advanced Search. It just defaults to 20.

What about when browsing the meets and events section on the mobile app, you can only select regions, and as I said up a bit, Scotland covers a huge area and I don't want to see people's meet requests from Inverness or Aberdeen.

Agree, I live in Hastings on the South Coast and searching for meets in the meet section can take time. The proximity search when browsing is fine it is just the meets page that needs updating

East Anglia being in the East Midlands is a real pain when it comes to searching meets and events. At the mo a search for people near Lowestoft - Britain's most Easterly Town.....throws up folks in Derbyshire!

Were in Wakefield so we have the mirror image of your problem. But if we want to see if anything is going on in Barnsley we have to search in East Midlands and that appears to cover most of the UK.

We have to plan most of our meets around kids and general family life so we do look in browse meets to find out what's going on and having to search through three regions just to find out what's happening in Yorkshire is a pain.

In advance search you can choose to just see profiles that are on meet today, would it be possible to add a browse meets button so that you can do a search with a distance your comfortable with to see who has posted future meets.
