FabSwingers.com forum: cams on laptop...not ipad

sorry if this has been discussed previously but I would just like to ask if anybody knows how to get my cam working again. its a normal usb plug in cam, it works on other sites and Skype and used to work on fab too, but every so often fab would not detect it. and yes I have tried the little link to try the alternate route. However while trying to resolve it myself I can no longer see the X and Y network drives....im lost, to the point I will bin this laptop and get a new one with built in cam...and I only bought this three months ago!

I would advise against a laptop with built in cam.

I have one and it gives me two choices. Either read the chat room, or have the cam pointing at me. I cant seem to be on cam and see the screen at the same time.

As for your computer problems, im sorry, but i am sooooooooooo not qualified to solve those.
