Im not if this is the right place to put this but we was wondering if it would be possible to have a Kink/Fetish Forum added to fabs. And what people would think about it?

The problem is a lot of things can't be spoke about on Fab. Whilst they are between consenting adults, they can still be construed as illegal, especially with the new changes in laws.

A kink forum, if allowed, would constantly have posts deleted, wouldn't be worth it.

You have a good point but im sure that people can show restraint in the open topics. It just might be a place for Fet loving swingers to stand out from the crowd

While I fully accept that there is a crossover between the 2 scenes, I agree that this is first and foremost a swinging site not a fet one.

I think it could be a good thing.

It will def give people the opportunity to explore certain desires and possibly to find partners to aid in living out their fantasys

There is currently a thread running in the forums about peeing whilst deep throating. If that's not fetish then I don't know what is. Also we all have the option to choose watersports as an interest on our profiles and I think we can all agree that that is most definitely fet. So with that in mind surely it is acceptable to have a fetish/kink forum, no?

Fetish is a very broad subject indeed. Surely as adults on an adult website it should be allowed to expressed. Of course anything illegal should be ruled out. As for fisting pictures I dont understand the problem fabs have with it. Fisting is also an interest option on profiles as is sm, spanking and one or two others. Surely if you are going to allow people to state on there profiles that they are into it then its only fair that we have a place to talk about it......

Before swinging, I was active on the London Fetish Scene for over 15 years so I have seen a thing or two. Not illegal but certainly not to all tastes. The difficulty with fetishes is it is so subjective. What is fairly common place and not shocking for some, will be considered as highly offensive to others. Even swinging is deemed offensive to some members of society. I have found that topics I have raised on the forums have been removed even though they are VERY common and not illegal. I dont understand why FAB does that when it is discussed openly on fetish websites. X

One of my kink goals if you like, has no place on this site. It is, at worse illegal, even with my consent, with a sympathetic judge, something I could be sectioned for doing. I wouldn't dream of talking about it on here, because my swinging life is separate. And people, no matter how open minded and non judgemental they claim to be, are not. And it is well within their right to exercise that.

if you want to talk about kink, go to one of the many sites that cater for kink. Where you'll find me talking about my kinks, and to be honest most of the kinky people on Fab can be found elsewhere under the same name.

Fab is a great site for what it caters for, but kink isn't it.

The thing is, most kinks/fetishes do get discussed and Admin havn't told mods to take any of them off yet...I was commenting more on the posts I had to remove were more extreme fetishes that Admin don't want on the site were mentioned.

Which was my point? If I absent mindedly mentioned another website earlier then I apologise. I cant recall. But my real point is that Kink, sexual preferences...whatever you want to call it...is very subjective and who is offended or not. I have personally found some things offensive on FAB that have not been removed. I dont know why they weren't because some things I found very distasteful. But then, some might find MY preferences not to their taste too. So thats life!

I realise you are only following rules...so I appreciate that may or may not be your personal view. However I do think that whoever on FAB admin decide the rules, have missed a trick, and might be looked at again? Because clearly FAB users/supporters are asking for a a forum where these can be discussed honestly and openly without fear or judgement. Personally I like Lickety' s idea. There are sooo many common place legal and consensual 'kinks' that sooo many swingers are into that don't seem to be allowed to be discussed. It would just be nice if admin would be willing to consider these in the light of how many from FAB are requesting? Or perhaps to explain why this isnt possible? I dont believe that the vast majority would be in violation of any laws to be fair. But guidelines could be set?

I think FAB is a great site and the FAB forums offer excellent opportunity for people to express their sexuality and to ask questions about things they fantasise about . Often we think we are alone in our views but find many others share the same preferences. FAB serves as a great place to discuss these and it is far more healthy to talk about them.

Again I am talking legal, fully consensual sexual preferences with adults. Anyway...thats just my view

There are only a few kinks that are not allowed on the forum so it shouldn't really be too much of an issue..... and as said before, Admin took advice over them and decided not to allow them.

If anything changes I am sure they will let us all know

If there's such a large number that want this then why has ths thread had so few supportive responses?

Other sitea are neither hard to navigate nor hard to make friends on (well not if you use them as designed) and certainly don't just cater for extreme fetishes.

By your own admission a subsection on here would be comparatively tame, you say that it's a good thing while bemoaning other sites for not being comprehensive and inclusive enough - is that not the same thing? Or is it ok when what is veibg discussed includes rather than excludes you?

All the things that you mention can and are discussed in the forums, I still can't see a decent reason to marginalise them in their own subsection.

I fail to see how having a place on this site that is dedicated to one thing is marginalising to any one or anything. You are quite right there has not been a huge response but I would say that it has been small either. Maybe a having a place to discuss these subjects would encourge people to discuss things with likeminded people. I do find it strange that people who claim to be kink orientated would be so against this whole idea? There are people who enjoy sex and kink and some that see fhe subjects at totally individual subjects. Surely this site is the perfect place to bride the two. Its not for everyone just as swinging or open sexualality is not for everyone either.

You are quite right the response hasn't been small. The number of people agreeing in over 3 weeks is barely in double figures. That's not small it's virtually non existent.

I think it is such a shame a "kink board" hasn't been allowed. I found my inner slut and kinky side through this site (just needed the right man to bring her out) I can't understand why , nobody is forced to read a forum they have no interest in but would benefit many.

A mod ( ie me ) has explained on this thread why posts were removed that had more extreme kinks and other websites on that isn't allowed on the forum.

I also explained that there are only a few kinks that are not allowed to be discussed on the forum/site.

That shouldn't and doesn't translate to there can't be a fetish forum....I didn't address this at all and Admin have not commented.

But saying only small number want it isn't really fair. People may not have seen this thread to comment and show their interest. I have seen numerous kink profiles on here, as well as kink pictures and threads so would say the calling is there.

Maybe admin could trial the kink forum , and if people abuse it with illegal posts they can remove it
