FabSwingers.com forum: set to not show on 'who has looked at you' page

I've asked this a few times. I'm set to not show on peoples 'who has looked at you' page but I know people can see I've looked... I often get a message immediately after looking at a profile..

Why is this?!

We hav dne same and asked for. Some groups ov ppl not b able t get in contact but they can. Its anoying x

I've noticed this too.

Mines been set to "don't show" since day one but shortly after I viewed some profiles I've had winks/messages from those people but haven't winked/messaged or fabbed anything of theirs to show I was ever there! xx

If you're set not to show, and don't turn it on/off you won't show.

There are literally dozens of interaction mechanisms where they can see you that doesn't involve you showing on the looked@me page e.g. your forum posts, hotlists, news feed, recently online etc

I dont believe it is just coincidence... I look at someone and minutes later they look at me! Ive always been set to private. ..

this has happened to me too...I find it too much of a coincidence as some of the profiles I looked at who minutes later looked at me were not even in my area...weird??

We agree, same thing has happened to us many times.

Too many co-incidences, I'd suspect some form of glitch in the stealth mode !!

I think what they are doing is hiding themselves to browse profiles, then in hiding once they have finished. Have just tried this with our profiles, while set to "don't show on who's looked at me" we couldn't see that we'd looked, we then changed to showing and you could see that we had looked earlier. We turned it back to not show and the fact that we had looked had disappeared.

Possibly. The way it works is it either shows you on all "looked@me" or hides you. You can't turn it on/off to "hide tracks" because that's not the way it works

Also if your a single lady, the likelihood is it's just coincidence that they have winked/messaged... There aren't all that many of you around, and if your online you'll appear higher up a search that yields very few results in the first place

I get huge amounts of people from different areas viewing my profile, purely because I have verifications from people in different areas.

The amount of men that litter my page is unreal, and it's clearly based around the fact that they want to see who I am because of the people I've met.

Did you get a message actually saying that they had seen you had looked or did they just look at you or wink. Reason we're asking is that we did a search for women with pictures within 10 miles of Manchester and you showed on page 2 despite being offline for 2 hours... That would be the 36th person on the search. When you were online you'd have been higher up. So unless they messaged saying they had seen you looked, then it's highly likely it's just a coincidence due to you being in the smallest category on here.

we don't turn the option on and off either
