Can I suggest it might be good to have to option to accept or reject verifications when someone does one for you? I think it would be better than the current arrangement where the only way to get rid of a verification is to block the other person. Wonder what others might think?

Why would you need to get rid of a verification? Surely you could just not to display it. Nobody else can see who it came from.

I was asked to delete a verify as the guy from a couples profile didn't want anyone / other half to see it . Said he was single at the time we met but partner had returned . Bit awkward as only way to do it is to block the profile .

I don't see what use this would be. If I don't want other people seeing a verification I'd received I wouldn't display it. And if I felt that strongly that I didn't want someone to display one I'd left for someone else then I'd block them. I don't really understand how the current system doesn't work.

Similar scenario here - and that is why I think it would be useful

The poster s question is ambiguous. You yourself decide what gets displayed so I don't know what the issue is. Can you reformulate your question?

Been asked to show my verifications to a lady I've met - there I some I choose to hide deliberately which I'd rather she didn't see, but don't particularly want to block the senders as I want to keep in touch with them. Hoep that makes more sense?

Why cant you just show the ones you want to show and hide those you dont. It's not that difficult surely or am I missing something?

Hi i and my mate dandv85 met a cpl and had sex chat and then after the next day had one from them then they took it back off i thourght that was so rude and not nice at all of them i said to them why did you take it off then then they said because she dont like hairy men and your friends with tvs so if some one looked at who iv meet it would put of other people meeting them they said to me and i was not happy about it what thay did and said about me so they blocked me. Tell her to mind her own.

You cant control what people send you, only what you display.

I think adding options to reject a veri or delete a veri would turn this into a bigger play ground issue than it already is.

WTF has a private page within your profile got to do with her? Is she wanting access to your inbox and sent items too? Unless this is your significant other I have to ask, are you really that desperate for a shag?! Is she prepared to show you hers?

I actuslly think the whole verification thing is daft. I assume it was formulated as a way of verifying that the person you see in the pics is the person you get.

However, it's used more like trip advisor. With them always being a glowing review as no one would display a negative one.

I think it ought to be revamped. Where only one verification is displayed (and is automatically displayed) and the person leaving it chooses it from a generic drop down list.

So you get for example "Was a great meet, he/she is as stated in profile, clean and good company"

Or just "he/she is as stated in profile"

And the only one shown is your most recent one so people can see when you last met, so if it was 4 years ago it helps make an informed choice.

And I think the summary should mandatorily shown alongside this so you can see who people meet, just not the substance. I think the option to hide things that help make a choice breeds the dishonesty that gets a lot of people's backs up here.

For example, I'm fed up with "straight" guys getting in touch with me who are Bisexual really, but hide verifications from TV/TS because they're ashamed.

I'm sorry OP but if someone asked me to show them my account and my verification page Id tell them to bugger off. Your account is yours and personal. Your veris, messages or any private pictures you have are your business and no one else!
