Location, location, location

It's a fact that by area most of the SY (Shrewsbury) post code is in Wales because it stretches all the way to Aberystwyth!

By population though it's mostly in the West Midlands (if you don't count the sheep)

Can it be shown in West Mids as well as Wales? There are those of us who want to swing in Shropshire rather than over the hills and far away.

And we have noticed some folk have managed to get Shrewsbury, West Mids on their profiles - how did they do that?

We were wondering if it would be possible to add a search by distance facility rather than just by the very start of the post code.

We're on the edge of a number of post codes - great for choice but means profiles we look at are often miles away.

Would just narrow it down for when we're feeling like playing close to home lol

agree with distance rather than region search - as being on the western reaches of the South East for us somewhere like coventry is easier to get to than say Hastings or Suffolk

We would like to see a "pick n mix" postcode option, for like most on here we dont fall into a clearly defined area, especially with the new proposed changed to postcode groupings.

For us we would love to be able to create our own "group" of postcodes to search by.

Searching by distance from a postcode can be done, but the information needed to be accurate is going to cost the site owners and it can be expensive! so don't hold your breath!!!

Fair enough lol would it be possible then to be able to select more than one post code at once without selecting, say, the whole west mids? I have no clue what these things cost

The search by distance thing is a pain in the arse on the south coast of wales with the north coast of devon only 30 miles away as the crow flies - but a bloody long drive
