We suggest you must be photo verified within 1 month of joining to stop the fakes and timewasters.

Also if you dont use for 6 months delete the account.

also pic verification and other verifications can be easily faked, and proves nothing.

I suggest we allow the site admin to run the site the way it is, and we choose our meets the way we want to.

What I mean is, why not filter out unverified profiles? And profiles that haven't been logged into for months show up on the profiles as such when you browse. As I don't think the site will run out of space any time soon its probably more trouble than its worth to clear them out.

That happens on pay sites to tempt men to renew their membership. This isn't a pay site, so what would be their motive in doing so?

well fab isent totally free.and i dident say fab was making up profiles,i said other sites do it.and the advertisers that use this site like too see big numbers.and what draws in the crowds ?

Just turn your filter on! Problem solved.

I don't have any problems with time wasters.

Any fakes I do find are usually newbies and long gone before a month has gone by anyway.

Don't you just love it when someone who is obviously having problems with the site, automatically presumes that everyone else is.

Not photo verified, no intention of getting photo verified and do not think that anyone should be forced to do anything they don't want to.

If you only want to meet verified people, use the filters to stop any one who is not verified, from contacting you.

Why?

We have been with the site since the first few months and have never been photo verified.

We also dip in and out as life, ilness, work etc intrudes on sex, why should we lose our account?

We have also never really had a problem with fakes and timewasters; we get a few but you learn to pick up on the timewasters and filter them out.

We are not photo verified... Are we fake? No. In fact we are just after holding a very impromptu after party with 7 other people who will verify we are very real indeed.

not again ffs!- I dunno how the op does it, week to week the same subject really, something about someone elses profile, pics namely.

Never really able to comprehend alot wont like the way their profile is done itself...down to PICS! amazingly.

photoverified means nothing to many..I could have pics of my ex partners(who were on fab and had cpls profiles) and use them to pretend I'm still a couple

As for not using your profile for six months there are member of the forces who can't access the site on tour but use it when they return home.

Should they have to set up a new profile everytime? Get photo verified and meet verified all over again? Miss out on meets.cos instead of an established profile it's brand new and looks like they've never met anyone?

Profiles show up in searches with the most recently active at the top of the list and the inactive at the bottom. OP are you searches so prescriptive they are only showing a handful of profiles? Or not prescriptive enough as setting the option for only verified profiles would save you this trouble just as setting your filter would stop them messaging you.

In fact set all your filters so no-one can contact you unless you contact them first.

In 5 years, I haven't met a single fake or timewaster ... and that's because I take responsibility for my own selection criteria. And I meet both photoverified and non-photoverified. Doesn't bother me if a man is reluctant to send a picture of his face-and-"fabswingers" .... and I would infinitely rather he DIDN'T send a picture of his penis!

So all who are not photo verified are time wasters? Cheers - we meet people, sometimes have fun other times just for a drink and guess - We are not photo verified because we can't be bothered.

Fab doesn't take up our life and we are "online or no" depends on our moods; sometimes don't come online for weeks and then other times on daily.

Same as many others they meet chat if clicks have fun and are not photo verified...simplez

Us neither...never been photo verified and so far have never felt the need for it. In our decision making toolkit, it's not something we place any importance on...if others do, that's their choice. If it rules us out for some, including the OP, I think we and the people we've been genuinely meeting over the years will live...

Looks like I'm in that group too been here 5 years over 2 profiles never photo verified.

It's down to the individual preference both systems are open to miss use

But lots of other sites don't gave any system.

Use the filters an go with your gut instinct best advice

And all that would happen is people would constantly set up new profiles .
